SUMMARY:

This paper is an introduction to the issue of parents’ visiting schedule of their children if it has been established by a divorce judgement. At the same time, the article characterizes the statutory notions related to the subject, as well as explains the correlations between visitations and parental authority. The considerations, apart from the basic focus on statutory regulations, also include aspects of the actual execution of visitations (within the prescribed scope) in reality, including selected international regulations and disputes taking place in the European Court of Human Rights.
