The article discusses the term “gross ingratitude” of the donee which is mentioned in the provision of the Civil Code. Beyond any doubt, this is an imprecise term which provides a certain freedom of interpretation for the entity applying law (court). The article is based on the judgement of the Court of Appeals in Łódź of 13 December 2018, I ACa 157/18.
