SUMMARY:
Changes taking place in labor markets, society and the global environment have contributed to the search for new solutions. The COVID-19 pandemic has largely indicated the current legislative and organizational shortcomings of remote work. Attempts to regulate remote work were made in a hurry, without taking into ac-count significant terminological problems. It became necessary to regulate and specify this institution in the provisions of the Labor Code. The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of remote work in the legal regulation before April 26, 2023 and in the amended Labor Code. The method of defining the concept of remote work by the legislator was indicated, its essential elements and attention was drawn to what problems may arise in this connection.
